I started painting with abstraction, and when I arrived in Mauritius, I simply could not paint abstract again. I don't know why, I wanted to paint the birds, the flowers, the fish, all the things around me. It was as if I felt overwhelmed by all this nature, and part of my imagination wanted to give back a version of it.
This striped fish is one example. I am not even sure it exists anywhere but in my imagination, but I painted it because it reminds me of those little fish hidden in the coral, peeking out as if to see what is going on outside, without wanting to take part.

Shipping and returns
Each print is made on demand in one of our partner workshops (Europe, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia). Production usually takes 1 to 2 working days, sometimes 4 to 5 for large or framed formats.
Shipping is free and tracked. Once printed, allow 2 to 5 working days in Europe and the UK, 3 to 7 in the US and Canada, 4 to 8 in Australia. We deliver to more than 50 countries; in Mauritius, only the original paintings are offered.
Damaged on arrival? Send us a photo within 48 hours: your print is reprinted and sent again at no cost. Returns accepted within 14 days.
