The story behind the work
« Moment » and « Suspendu » (suspended) form a diptych.
Two paintings that answer each other, a nod to the innocent joy and wonder we feel the first time we explore the Mauritian lagoon. My intention in painting these two small canvases was for them to act as an anchor, a reminder to ourselves of all we do not know yet and that will fill us with wonder tomorrow.

Why choose Duhaut Paris?
Every print starts with an original painting by Angélique Duhaut, made in her studio in Mauritius. The canvas is photographed in high definition so the edition keeps each brushstroke, each colour, each detail of the painting.
